{ The Sunflower House, Up Close | May 15, 2010 } Four floors high, the owner of this house certainly made the most out of his front walls. Bedecked in kiping, rice grains, bilao’s and brightly painted fans clustered into sunflowers, the house seemed to give a whole new meaning to Pahiyas. The bottom photo features two papier mâché figures of a farmer and his wife, which were carried around town during the procession to ensure a bountiful harvest in the coming seasons.
